From the beginning, the financial management of Foundation Capital has been left in Ted's highly capable hands. Ted came well qualified for the job, having served as CFO at Merrill, Pickard, Anderson & Eyre for eight years. Ted helped these two VC firms raise well over $1 billion and played an active role in supporting the portfolio companies, several of which have returned over twenty times their original investment. Prior to that, Ted operated as CFO at Priam, Silicon Solutions and Trademark and also held a variety of financial management positions at Hewlett-Packard and Price Waterhouse. Ted enjoys skiing (both water and snow) and participates avidly in improvement projects on his family's 60-year young home. Ted holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he earned distinction as an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BA in Economics from Stanford.
